About the College
The Institute campus is about 8 Km from the bus-stand and about 10 Km from the railway station. Hassan (known as poor man’s Ooty) is located on the National Highway (NH - 48)of Bangalore – Mangalore and about 185 Km from Bangalore. It is a business center and is well known for its world famous Hoysala architecture and temples of Belur, Halebeedu, monolithic statue of Bahubali at Shravanabelagola. INSAT – Master Control Facility of ISRO is located 7 Km away from Hassan City.
About the Trust
The Boovanahally Channakeshava Swamy Vidya Samsthe (R) was established with
an ambition to provide better education facilities to the Hassan City and
neighboring villages in General Education as well as Professional Education
of Medical Services. Beginning with Primary School, this Trust has now
increased its various Colleges and different courses like B. B. M., B. Com.,
B. Sc., B. Ed., D. Ed., G. N. M., B. Sc. Nursing. M. Sc. Nursing. B. Pharm,
D. Pharm. etc.
A Normal flow of 5000 students are benefited per year from the various
courses run by the Trust.
The Hassan City is known for excellent Educational Institutions in the field
of Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, Engineering, Dental, Hotel Management and Law
since few decades. The city has the convenience of a Railway Junction,
Airport in Bangalore and is also connected by roads.
NDRK College of Nursing is located in the heart of Hassan city, one of the
upcoming cities of Karnataka. It is located 185 Kms. Away from Bangalore and
170 Kms. From Mangalore. It is the District Head quarter known for art and
agriculture, a growing business center known for political importance and a
good education center. The city has good rail and road communication
facilities with frequent busses to Bangalore, Mangalore and Mysore.
